Sara Madrid Lockman

Advocate

Sara joined Disability Rights Oregon as an Advocate in September 2025. She supports our Legal Director and the Multnomah County Civil Commitment Program.

Sara brings extensive experience in client advocacy, trauma-informed care, and community resource navigation, with a strong background supporting individuals through complex health, legal, and social systems.

She recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Portland State University and has worked in roles ranging from intake coordination at a mental health clinic to volunteer service with children, families, and underserved communities.
