Jude Kassar

Supervising Attorney

Jude joined Disability Rights Oregon in August 2023 as the Supervising Attorney for the Multnomah Civil Commitment Program.

Jude’s career to this point has been an eclectic mix of indigent defense in juvenile dependency and criminal cases, guardianships and conservatorships, and education. She has always prided herself on her ability to distill complex legal concepts into understandable and practical information for clients, and provides compassionate and whole-hearted representation.

Jude attended law school at The Ohio State University, and has an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota. She is a midwestern transplant who has been in Oregon for over two decades. In her free time, Jude loves to hang out with her family (including two rowdy teenagers), get outside on walks and hikes, cook, and play guitar.
