Destini Martinez

Staff Attorney

Destini Martinez joined Disability Rights Oregon in July 2024 as a Staff Attorney with the Crime Survivor Project. She works alongside survivors of crime with disabilities, advocating for safety, dignity, and meaningful access to justice. Her work centers trauma-informed advocacy and systemic change.

Destini earned her law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she worked with the Criminal Justice Reform Clinic and interned with the Victim Rights Law Center. With experience in both criminal defense and survivor advocacy, she brings a steady, client-centered approach to complex legal systems and believes strong advocacy begins with deep listening—honoring lived experience while protecting autonomy and rights.

Outside of work, Destini feels most alive in nature. She finds inspiration in hiking, hot springs, yoga, and meditation, and loves creating and dancing. She treasures time with her son and her dog, Nova, and believes that staying grounded and connected strengthens her ability to serve her community with presence and integrity.
