Children at “therapeutic boarding schools” and “wilderness programs” will be safer.
Following the death of a child at SageWalk wilderness program and a report finding highly questionable practices at Mount Bachelor Academy, DRO is calling for staffing, regulatory and monitoring changes to better safeguard children at Oregon’s therapeutic boarding schools and wilderness programs.
In the absence of such changes, we fear more abuse, neglect, and death.
